Some basic FAQ’s on Thailand:
When to go? Thailand is a year round destination, and even when it’s not the monsoon season it can rain, and in the monsoon season days can be comfortably warm and dry, albeit humid. The monsoon season is from July to November, followed by a cooler drier time from December to February, and then from March to June it gets hotter. The peak tourist season is from November to March and again from July and August.
Do I need a Visa? For British passport holders no visa for Thailand is required. On arrival at a Thai Airport, you get an entry permit valid for 30 days (15 if coming over a land border). Your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months from your intended departure date
Do I need Immunizations? For a short visit to Thailand, it is recommended to get immunized against Diphtheria, Hepatitis A and Tetanus. There is also a limited risk of Malaria, so a course of anti-Malaria tablets is recommended also. Your Doctor will be able to provide more information.
